Scholarships Awarded to Two BHS Class of 2016 Graduates

The Gardeners’ Guild of Braintree awarded two $1,000 scholarships in 2016 to two students graduating from Braintree High School.  This year’s recipients are Varick Ho and Kayla Goetz.  The scholarships are given to students pursuing study in fields related to Guild interests, such as environmental, landscaping, botany or design.  The Gardeners’ Guild of Braintree would like to congratulate Varick and Kayla and wish them great success.


Preparations are already underway for the annual Holiday House Tour and Boutique presented this year by the Gardeners’ Guild of Braintree on Sunday December 4, 2016 from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m.  The Holiday Boutique will be held at Town Hall from 11a.m. to 4 p.m..  Please mark your calendars!

"Herb Gardening Through a Sustainable Lens" with Norma Weinberg

The Gardeners’ Guild of Braintree will meet on Monday November 7th,  2016 at the Masonic Temple, 403 Washington Street, Braintree at 7:00pm.    The featured guest will be Norma Weinberg and her presentation called  ‘Herb Gardening Through a Sustainable Lenswill start at 7:30 p.m.

The Guild

The Gardeners' Guild of Braintree, located in Braintree, Massachusetts, was organized and formed on December 1, 1975.  The Guild is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting a knowledge and interest of gardening and ecological sciences for the beautification of our community and support of students pursuing degrees in ecology, agriculture, etc.  No part of its net earnings will inure to the benefit of or be distributable to its members, officers or other private individuals.
